Hosts Larry Asego and Flavia Tumusiime will be introducing us to the teams who will all be hoping they scoop the big cash prize!
Celebrating East Africa’s passion for the beautiful game, these football loving duos from Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda will be put through a series of football trivia and skill challenges to see who has what it takes to make it through to the Final Round.
Will it be last week’s winning Kenyan team, Joseph and Fenton who come out on top again, or will the new Kenyan contestants Kefa and Joseph out-do their compatriots? Or will Matthias and Robert from Uganda or Amlani and Nasoro from Tanzania demonstrate more skill and knowledge? Which will be the team that gets the chance to risk it all to win up to USD50K in the Final Round? Whoever comes out on top will go forward to next week’s episode to take on a three new sets of challengers. Adding to the excitement, viewers will be treated to incredible displays of skill from the four Guinness Football Challenge football icons, Jay Jay Okocha, Marcel Desailly, Rigobert Song and Kalusha Bwalya, who will be appearing throughout the series to demonstrate to the contestants how the challenges should be done.
