THE President of the United Republic of Tanzania, His Excellency Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete has congratulated his Personal Assistant for Economic Affairs, Miss Elsie Kanza, on her appointment to the position of Head of Africa at the prestigious Institution – The World Economic Forum. Her appointment takes place effective Monday, August 8, 2011.
In his statement, today, Friday, August 12, 2011, the President has thanked Miss Kanza for the “wonderful service” she rendered to the nation in the six years she served as the Personal Assistant to the President on Economic Affairs since March, 2006.
The president appreciates her intellect, knowledge and above all commitment and dedication to work and has no doubt in his mind that Miss Kanza will raise to the challenges of her new responsibilities and she will excel.
The President believes that her appointment is, indeed, an honour for Tanzania and on return she will have gained new horizons of experience which will be useful for the country. The President wishes her success and best of luck in her new responsibilities.
