Kaymu Launches iOS Mobile App
TANZANIA’S leading online marketplace: Kaymu has launched its mobile app on the iOS.

The mobile app is all set to make online shopping accessible to even more people, with great features that enable sellers to list products and buyers to select from a wide variety of products at a glance. The app will offer a wider product assortment, fast and intuitive navigation, and easier buyer and seller account management.

Kaymu Tanzania’s Country Manager ErfaanMojganiexplains, “The benefit of Kaymu’s strong local presences in each country we operate in is that we see early and often what is best for our customer base (buyers and sellers), and how we should adapt. From very early in our operations, we have increasingly focused on the “mobile experience”, and after many improvements in our Android version of the App, we are releasing the iOS app to cater to the growing iPhone user base.”

The Tanzania Communication Regulatory Authority (TCRA) shows that since internet services were introduced for the first time in Tanzania mainland, there has been a steady growth of internet users. We see a growth from 1.1% of the population in 2005 to 4.4% in 2013 that use the internet. This boost has led to an m-commerce explosion in Africa, as the number of users who access the internet via their phones is growing rapidly and leapfrogging traditional desktop use in Africa.

The Kaymu.com’smobile app is available for download on iPhone devices from the App store here.
