What is life?, most of us have asked ourselves this question and there is no right or wrong answer. On my way to to work this morning, I asked myself what is life? Then I remembered the song titled “Maisha” and the chorus goes like this
” Maisha ni Mapambano – Pambana”
“Maisha ni kitendawili – Kitengue”
“Maisha ni mtihani – Ufaulu”
etc.
For me life is what happens everyday, the good and the bad. Life is not only about “mapambano au mtihani“. Life is also when you say a word of encouragement to someone, when you hug a total stranger because you recognized that they need a hug.
I have been blessed to have a wonderful wife, for me life doesnt end when I am at work “napambana” but also when I get home from work and hug my wife, sit at the dinner table and chat or just lay on the bed and watch our favorite show or movie. Life is not only about struggles, live a complete life. Life on this earth stops when your heart stops beating. I encourage you to take a moment and look around, life is full of beautiful things, you just need to open your eyes and see them.
