FUFA Wishes Kenya a Peaceful Election Exercise
AS Kenya goes to polls today to decide their next top political leadership, FUFA wishes them a peaceful exercise.
In the most special way, our message goes to the Regional Cecafa General Secretary Mr. Nicholas Musonye, the FA President Mr. Samuel Nyamweya and the entire football family in this country. It’s our prayers that the post election period is well managed to avoid moments of turmoil as it was the case in the past elections.
Kenya being one of the contenders for hosting this year’s Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup (the second one being Rwanda), they both deserve a stable political environment in order to satisfactorily prepare for the final examination in deciding the host of the regional’s biggest football event due in November.
The continued Political instabilities in Africa have always affected sports development in the continent, a practice that should be avoided in Kenya again. Ugandan FA under the leadership of President Lawrence Mulindwa once again wishes you a peaceful election exercise. May the best candidate emerge winner.
