Popular Tanzanian and occasional Nollywood actor, Steven Kanumba, has been reported dead.
The cause of his death has not been officially confirmed, but reports have it that he was fatally injured after a fall. News has also emerged that he was in an altercation with a lady, allegedly an aspiring actress, Elizabeth ‘Lulu’ Michaels which led to the fatal fall.
But there are conflicting reports saying his death was as a result of a car accident on his way home from a night club on Friday, April 6, 2012.
According to sources, among those who have sent condolence messages to his family is Nollywood icon, Ramsey Nouah, who was his co-star in his self-produced 2011 movie, ‘Devil Kingdom’.
Steven ‘The Great’ Kanumba, born January 8, 1984, was a very popular actor in his native East African country of Tanzania and was also a producer and director with numerous films to his credit.
Oh! Oh!! Rest in Peace Steve and take heart Ramsey.
